13. You must rotate the dust shield on the shock, so that it is on the back side of the shock. You

will need to rotate the dust shield even if you decide to take it off. The mount for the dust

shield can prevent the shock from fitting properly on the trailing arm if it is not rotated.

14. If you choose to keep the factory dust shield on the shock, you will also need to trim the plastic

shield for clearance.

NOTE: For instructions purposes we removed the shield so that we could clearly show how to

install parts.

15. Connect the shock to the new trailing arm using the 12x120mm hex bolt and 12mm lock nut

provided.
